Clear 30mu Nativia ® film

Sealable to help keep the rain out

Made from 30mu Nativia® PLA BioBased film. Nativia® film is made from renewable plant resources. PLA bio-based resin is sourced from corn or sugar beet and potatoes, among others. It takes less energy to produce Nativia® film and, therefore, it has a lower carbon footprint than oil-based plastics like Polypropylene, Polythene and PET.

The film is fully industrially / mechanically compostable or chemically recycled, according to the EN13432 standard and has achieved the OK-BIOBASED certificate from Vincotte, Austria. This certification proves the film will break down quickly into carbon dioxide, water and biomass by microbial digestion in the right conditions. Nativia® film can be incinerated for energy recovery.

Nativia® Card Bags are food safe and heat sealable, high stiffness, good oxygen barrier and good slip properties. Compostable bags should be used within 6 months and stored in suitable conditions, away from local heat sources, moisture and out of direct sunlight, and below 30degrees Celsius.
